How Many Pets Do You Have

None, would like a cat and a dog though.
1 dog, 1 cat.
Modern day version of the nuclear family. 😁
1 - a German Shep called Jarvis.

Used to have about 130,000 others but no longer keep bees. The hardest part was remembering all of their bloody names!
Pic of Jarvis marra.👍
Two rescue Cocker Spaniels, sisters that were bred from at a puppy farm for the first three years of of their lives.

The most placid, loving dogs - they know they hit the jackpot with us, as we did with them.
Pics man.
You can't come on here talking about 2 Cockers and not put the pics up.
Haway man.😁

2 cats currently, we've had one mad Rough Collie and 4 other cats since 1990. Never really been without a pet. Won't have another dog, getting the beast put down was the worst thing I've ever experienced. Worse than losing both parents.
What a beauty marra.

How old when you lost him?

Oh he was absolutely beautiful, but bonkers. In the end he couldn't go out for a walk because he couldn't see anything on his right hand side. The vet said it was brain damage, and suggested scans etc, he was only 10 but he was so terrified we decided it was time to let him go. It broke my heart and he wasn't even my dog. He was my wife's dog really. Never again

Sad mate.
Hardest thing in the world to do. Heartbreaking.
But as I've said before mate, it is the final, and greatest act of love you can show them.
Eventually the memories become less sad, and just the "bonkers" memories will take over and make you smile when you think of him marra.🙂

Absolutely. I could still cry when I think of him. Its a few years ago now, but I genuinely think we made the right decision. He was so terrified it was awful to see especially when he'd been such a confident dog.

Mind, when I was about 11 we had a cat go missing. I went out on my bike and found him dead by at the side of the road. I can still see his face now, 43 years on.

I don't understand people who wont have pets, they make a massive difference to your life.

We've got 2 rescue cats now...sisters. They are great fun. One a fat tabby who just wants to sit in front of the fire, the other a runt who runs around the house at Mach 1

My first dog.
Still think about him every day marra, and he passed 42 years ago.
No more tears now, just smiles, but it took a long while.

What a lovely dog, my wife had a German Shepherd when she was a teenager. God, he was feisty, but incredibly loyal. I could really fight with him and he was great fun, but he didn't suffer fools. His parents had been police dogs, so if he didn't trust you he could be a handful.
3 cats. It's difficult to get all 3 together. But here's Gideon and Ezra.
