Our most consistent run of top flight football since the 50's, so it's a 'golden age' considering modern history. We have been shite for all of our lifetimes - that's just the way it has been.

But there's a sense among supporters we should be striving for more since the SoL opened.

Had some tremendous memories.
6 in a row, cup final and road to wembley, fantastic support with us averaging over 40k every season, seeing the likes of defoe in a red and white shirt. Our time is now over though, Looking forward to winning a few games.
Would love to know how many home league games we have won in that time? Bet its grim reading.

got to gan along wi this like, the mood among players/supporters was a million miles away from what it is now, just so sad that for the most part it's been a season after season struggle,"things can only get better!"can they fuk

The achievement of stopping up so long wasn't actually that enjoyable looking at it now. Already been mentioned, but Wembley & beating the Mags were highlights. But if that's all we e got to show for ten years, it's not a lot to shout about is it?

This. By and large most of the seasons have been, for the majority of the months, poor. There's been constant frustration when hoping after each survival that we might get it right only to be let down again. If you're in the top flight for ten years you'd at least like a European campaign or a cup triumph to look back on. I'd hate to see the list of teams that have played in Europe since we came up, nevermind the list of teams that have done it since 1974

Mostly awful with a smattering of great results/ memories.
We get to Wembley, beat the Mags six time off the trot (as well as sending them down), yet overall a it's massively disappointing period as we've haven't progressed at all (despite the promises), with relegation battle after relegation battle finally getting the better of us.

A glorious opportunity for the club to recognise their massive fan base and act accordingly. However, our few successes were largely unexpected.

Now back to the dross.

It been over for a while the North has slowly died with greedy players wanting The South. Money ruin football a long time again....Man Utd want a practice ground down south!!
