I know on external drive for most but when printing do you use a special type of file etc, just wondering how to store the ones I want to keep to ensure keeping colour quality etc.

I save the RAW files and convert those I want to print to jpg.

I print my own on my Epson R2400 Photo printer, it'll print up to Super A3 or continuous roll at 33cm high if I want panoramics (so 33cm x any length I want)

Always shoot in RAW and convert to TIFF any that I want to print, saving the others to disc.
Usually print to A3+ with Epson Stylus Photo 1290 at the highest resolution, 2880dpi.
It's worth spending the money on a good frame and mount though as that can make or break a good photograph.

Really need a new printer as the 1290 is showing its age.
