Debris from the Portugal fires means lots of aircraft declaring pan / mayday with smoke smells in the cockpit.

It's not yellow here although there was a strange colour in the sky. The park was eerily quiet, not a breath of wind, no birds singing. Funny someone mentioned an eclipse, a lady walking her dog made that same comment.
