How dark is it?

Nearly 2pm and street lights have come on. I've never known that before like. Eerily dark outside here, yellowy tinge to the sky as well

The sky looked like it was going to fall in this morning tbf. It's brightened up a tad but not much.

Yellow tint is probably due to the storm picking up sand on its way.

I'm at work next to the Centre for Life and have a fantastic view of the station (watching trains go by is my new favourite thing). But it's so dark it feels like 9pm or something. The lights in the distance looks canny mind. But I feel like I shouldn't be here...

Aye, im in Gosfroth and its pitch black outside, looks like a scene from a Hitchcock film looking through the silhouettes of the trees and the hazy dark grey skies. Feels apocalyptic, street lights on, cars with headlights on, its only 2 o'clock in the afternoon FFS. Very still outside too with very little wind, almost like we are in the eye of a storm.

This weird phenomena is caused by Saharan dust scattering the blue light from the sun, letting more red light through.
