Speak competent Chinese, good Japanese and am a beginner in Korean. Lived in Hong Kong and Shanghai.

*Mandarin then, seen as you are being so picky, but seen as it has such prelevance it is often generalized to "Chinese" as a whole. I have never bothered with learning any Cantonese, Hakka, Min or Wu after all.
