How could SAFC improve match day experience ?

Our HT bar service is morbidly slow mind.
I can't for the life of me think why something isnt done about it.
Theres never been any improvement

Encourage the council to (a) build a footbridge over the Wear (b) improve parking (c) develop hotel accommodation for visitors
Yeah I've a pain in me nuts with the travelodge and your man in the B & B in depthford (if still there) did me out of a breakfast once the bollix

Bar 13 has a token system. Buy before the match then walk straight up to the token point and collect a pre-poured pint. Personally, I would like to see an outside bar area, a bit like the Travelodge at Wembley. I suspect that may well happen when the new hotel opposite the SoL opens.
A tented village type of set up would work like at race meetings or golf and a smokers end is a must

Well if you go to the pub, a it's free, b you can get a pint when you want, c you don't have to queue for a piss, d you can see what is happening and get action replays e you don't have to rely on the Metro

b and c shouldn't be a problem, d would appear to be common sense to me, and and e scrap the Metro and bring back the Economic buses

Widen the concourse. Very simple and I would have thought pretty cheap to do.

All the would need to do is take move the what look like breeze block turnsyles and bars back about 10 feet so they stadium walls drop down square. Would make a massive difference and couple with the other suggestions of decent beers no quicker service would probably pay for itself over a couple of years.

I think the powers that be need to come and sit amongst us and try and leave there seat on the whistle get a piss and pint at half time to see how bad it really is.
Agree more space would be good. Man City is good or obviously Wembley. But if youve been to Wigan or QPR you will realise it could be worse. QPR borders on the unsafe.

Cash machines inside the ground. - Yes
Have pints pulled and waiting for half time to speed up the queues. - Yes
Free tickets for SC holders to the first rounds of both cups. - While this sounds good, it will raise general prices for SCs

Oh and cheerleaders before KO and half time

It's supposed to be about football, is anything worse than the sh-t being paraded week in week out, not only at the SOL but the entire league. They have made an almighty mess of it, unrecognisable from the days when men were men

While i agree with most, anyone who cant orgsnise themselves to have a tenner on them when walking in shouldnt reslly be let out of the house alone.

Ive made numerous complaints to safc about the catering and the response was about as much use as the morons behind the bar.

Im 90% sure safc run the show now, they must miss out on thousands each game due to shite staff, pissing off their hardcore support at the same time.

I lad i know leaves his seat on about 44 minutes and yesterday was the first time in months there was a pie left when he was served.

But what happened v everton boxing day the other year took the biscuit. Prem concourse ran out of glasses and it took about 10 minutes for some to arrive. When i mailed the club/lindley about this they said more fans were there than expected. Unreal. It would have been more or less a sellout days before the game.

Widening the concourse is a must. Better organisation generally ended down there, not least with the bars.

Would definitely move the away fans. North east corner possibly. And I wouldn't have the corners open for cup games unless a big crowd is expected.

Should sell more SAFC merchandise inside the ground.

Aye, and while I'm at it, let's have a retractable roof. It was bloody freezing yesterday.

A reloadable card for the bars etc.... It'll save all the queues.

I spent the full 15mins waiting in a queue only to get nowt against Arsenal.

The lad serving the queue was having to pull his own pints :evil:

In this day and age itd be simple to charge your st whenever you wanted n swipe for drinks . Maybe give st card holders 20% off when using card. Shortens queues n gives a little thankyou.

A smoking area, ideally like a balcony looking outside the ground.
A betting area that pays out straight after the match.
Music wise, knock the Elvis version of "Can't help falling in love " on the head, as our fans don't sing it at that tempo.Find another version if it has to be played.
