House of Fraser - Administration

Poundland can't survive and HOF can't survive. It's all fucked like.

Anyone else noticed the rise in Barbers shops?

Also how come there's loads of mobile phone shops? Surely people get one once every two years or something?

People will always need their hair cut. Recession and online-proof. Likely be the only kind of shops we’ll see soon, apart from incredibly efficient clothing shops.

There was talk that Ashley would still put it into administration if he bought it. That could be to avoid the massive pension gap of £180 million. He could probably renegotiate the £5 million quarterly rent bill too. Interesting that he also has a 30% stake in Debenhams.

So it's actually sports direct that have bought it, rather than Ashley himself and it seems he plans to do some rebranding. Lol
