Horses and carts on the roads

There was one going through Bish when we left Kynren last year (who the hell thinks it's wise to drive a horse and cart through thousands of people trying to exit the town after a show?!)

He was on his mobile phone and didn't have proper hold of the reins, but the horse seemed to know where it was going without being told.

They've got as much right as you to be on the road.

That doesn't mean they're not a danger to traffic and it doesn't mean they shouldn't be banned.

Seen three today. One was an annoyance but not a hazard. The second had the passenger sat on the front with a toddler on each knee(!) and the third was being driven by a bairn with some bloke having to stop traffic so it didn't cause an accident. They're a f***ing menace. Ban them.

Massive pain in the arse, sun always brings them out. Probably baffled what they're going to do for Sunday dinner now McDonald's is shut

Cars are a menace too. Get them banned. Except Nissans.

I got stuck behind one on the A184 between Testos and Whitemare Pool the other week, because a car was drove alongside the horse and cart going the same speed so the whole road was backed up having to do 20mph.
