And before anyone starts their, "Ooh, that's racist, crap," I actively fought against neo-nazi twats in the 80's and am very proud of having done so but if people can't see the connection with the surge in violence and sex crimes in certain areas then they need to remove their heads from the sand.

You cannot possibly say "fact". It is your opinion. Yes, there are some bad bits of London. But to say it is "horrible" is errant nonsense. Lived down here since 91 and while at times it can get you down and get on your nerves, to label the whole city as horrible is just stupid. Lived in different parts of the city, from the fairly hardy and down at heel, Hermit Road, in Plaistow to the current abode, in Wimbledon, just near the Common. The latter is a fantastic place to live. Safe as houses, pleasant (granted, the odd rude posh get), plenty of space, shops, bars.

That's just my opinion of course....
