Honeyman after match interview

He's like most wingers Mcgeady great one week shite the next month

Unless yer a top quality winger in Kevin De Bruyne

I keep seeing this on here and I don't get it, we've had loads of decent wingers at this level over the years and those decent ones were never f***ing awful one week (or for a few weeks) then brilliant for one or two games. They would work hard and do the simple things, he doesn't.

He gives it 100%, that does it for me

It doesn't for me. Him and Jones were the two stand out worst players on the pitch yesterday, and things were so much better after he went off (admittedly there were various other factors involved).

At least the latter ended up being involved in some of our good stuff, but its clear as day he is scared stuff of the ball (Jones) and has zero confidence.

Very emotional.

If ever there is a time to really get behind a young local lad this is it.

He is exactly the sort of player we have been missing because we always sell them.
I just like how he always grafts and always happy to accept the ball. No matter how shit he’s playing.

I am emotional after watching him

Normally in tears after another defeat .....;)

Nice lad does his best but has little real influence on a game even at this level

The amount of Rodwell's on this thread, boo hoo wa shoite am not playing.......

He might be shoite, but at least he's having a go, unlike the Fookin statues sitting with one cheek on each seat.....

Jog on to the whack-a-mole at the Metro Centre for Fooks sake......

I’m afraid despite our cataclysmic decline into the abyss it is still alluding many of the gamified Champ Manager fans amongst our ranks that we are now without alternatives. Players such as Honeyman - the so called 100%ers - are the absolute baseline of where the club is realistically at and is the foundation we should be building on.

The SMB is locked into this perpetual, moronic cycle; ‘he’s gash’ ‘shouldn’t be anywhere near the team’ ‘covering every blade of grass isn’t good enough’.

SHOW ME THE ALTERNATIVE.

Lord, everyday you come on here it is fuelled by abject negativity that fans think they’ve earned as victims of our sinking ship. FUCK
THAT. We’re not victims, we play an active role in the club and whilst we may not be able to influence what happens on the pitch we are certainly responsible for the mood around.

We are were we are. Griping and moaning about some fantastical alternative that we don’t have is beginning to get embarrassing. If CC puts out a team that is 100% the best team we can offer, driven by genuine, hungry 100%ers - back them or fuck off. You’re either part of the cure or the disease and at this moment in time - with this non constructive negativity IMHO - you cease to be fans. The rotten core.
So because there's no alternative we all need to just agree he's good ? It was me who said he's gash and I stand by it cause I think he is but I'm also aware there's no other alternatives. Bit of a stupid rant of yours really, you're trying to show you're above everyone but you're only arguing with yourself.

What I don't get with our support is crying out to play the kids and then can't wait to give them grief if they don't turn out to be Messi . FFS give them a chance! Far worse players in the squad than Honeyman lad gives everything and chipped in with goals and assists .

He’s a part of the reason we are second bottom. He’s not good enough. People are getting all dewey eyed after we scrambled a draw having been 3 nil down

Absolutely no surprise to me that the younguns have 2 good games then 2 bad games.

That's just how it is.

In contrast the experienced players are playing bad every week.
