He isn't a lone striker but is being asked to play that wayz simply to chase balls down which allows Gooch , Honeyman and Maguire to get up the pitch.
The end.

Must admit he's flattered to deceive so far he doesn't seem to have much about him he isn't particularly quick he isn't a goalscorer and his all round contribution isn't great
For someone who was very highly rated at Liverpool I really can't see a top player in him
I also don't think he will make a premier League player
Thanks Mike BassettHe isn't a lone striker but is being asked to play that wayz simply to chase balls down which allows Gooch , Honeyman and Maguire to get up the pitch.

I think some of our fans are looking for the next Messi, the lads doing okHes quick enough, workrate is great, attitude seems spot on and he wants to be here. Which is a big improvement on some players in past few seasons
Thanks Mike Bassett
Him chasing the ball around like a headless chicken as he can't read the game. Also him not winning any ball played above chest height to him
To be fair, we could play Steve Cram up front for us and he would never stop running eitherReally good grafter. He never stops running. I think he is a threat and with enough support up front, if we have players to get into the box quick enough, he can provide great ammunition for them to score. The way he's being played at the moment he will not be a big scorer but he works hard and could prove to be a great asset imo
True, he has scored one, and in the other 8 games he has carried the same goal threat as our goalie. Has he even had an on target shot saved in the other 8 games, as I cannot think of one?Did he? That explains it then, ha ha. From my vantage point (East Stand, near the South Stand 18 yard box) with low sun in my dodgy eyes I thought he'd fluffed it! Apologies to Mr Maja!
He's scored, our keeper hasn't.
