Honest opinions of Sinclair ?

Must admit he's flattered to deceive so far he doesn't seem to have much about him he isn't particularly quick he isn't a goalscorer and his all round contribution isn't great

For someone who was very highly rated at Liverpool I really can't see a top player in him

I also don't think he will make a premier League player

Caused them no end of problems on Tuesday, his alround game is better than Maja but Maja has that knack of scoring goals.

Really good grafter. He never stops running. I think he is a threat and with enough support up front, if we have players to get into the box quick enough, he can provide great ammunition for them to score. The way he's being played at the moment he will not be a big scorer but he works hard and could prove to be a great asset imo

Very poor in the air, can't make the ball stick, works hard and has the odd flash of something decent but most importantly not as good as Maja.

Nice cameo by Maja today. Controlled the ball, hung on to it with clever skills and brought others into the game.

Their keeper pulled out a good save in the first 5 mins from him getting a goal. he worked really hard today..

he runs around a lot but mostly at already lost causes
he is easily loses the ball, his timing and aerial winning of the ball is not very good and mostly has the movement and control of Bambi on ice
I did at first think that he was going to have an imposing physical presence but this has not proven to be of any significance
We looked much better when Maja came on because although he is not great in the air or physical his positional play and overall control of the football is much better and he has a much greater goal threat

Works hard and tbf, he hasn't had great service which sounds daft considering we're doing well results wise. Some decent service in the channels and he will cause problems and does at times with his work rate. Saying that, I thought Maja looked a class above when he came on today with his touch and keeping the ball. Sinclair is an honest lad and puts a shift in to help the team, but doesn't look a goal threat in particular.

He's fouled a lot too, today may be the exception, but he was battered against Peterborough and Bradford.

Maja gets a pass for scoring goals, but he rarely jumps to contest a header and pulls out of tackles.

Not saying he's the second coming of super kev, but he's an important player for us this term.

Doesn't look like a goalscorer. Works hard though.

Unless something amazing happens in the next six months, I would be gutted if we were to sign him.

Having said that, I would love something amazing to happen in the next six months.

Blinkered opinions, he’s a great asset and clearly has potential at a higher level for me.

Hes quick enough, workrate is great, attitude seems spot on and he wants to be here. Which is a big improvement on some players in past few seasons
I think some of our fans are looking for the next Messi, the lads doing ok

Him chasing the ball around like a headless chicken as he can't read the game. Also him not winning any ball played above chest height to him

I'd certainly not call him a headless chicken, but there's truth that he doesn't read the game well - in particular he doesn't anticipate where the play may go. So he doesn't always exploit the pace he has, because he's not begun moving soon enough. Surely something he can work on.

Maybe people's expectations of the lad are two high. He can't be doing that badly considering we won the last 3 games with him starting.

To be fair, we could play Steve Cram up front for us and he would never stop running either

Did he? That explains it then, ha ha. From my vantage point (East Stand, near the South Stand 18 yard box) with low sun in my dodgy eyes I thought he'd fluffed it! Apologies to Mr Maja!

He's scored, our keeper hasn't.
True, he has scored one, and in the other 8 games he has carried the same goal threat as our goalie. Has he even had an on target shot saved in the other 8 games, as I cannot think of one?

Think people need to concentrate on the quality of the balls played to him which in general are shocking. Until we start playing the ball down the sides of the centre backs we may not find out how good a player he is/will become.
