Just made these all i added was a bit salt a tiny bit of bread crumb and egg for binding. Fryed them in a tiny bit olive oil and they tasted f***ing vile proper greesey as fuck, where did i go wrong.

The oil wasn't hot enough.

Was that it, bastid what a waste that was then eh. Divvent listen to women then i wanted to turn the heat up but was told not too and they sat there about 15 mins on a lowish heat. All that canny stuff down the pan.

Aye, the meat hasn't been seared and absorbed the oil.
f***ing rank when thathappens.

Just a guess like but could it be the quality of the meat.I always buy lean meself.

Slightly fatty is best for food like this, it's the fat that gives it the flavour and it will be cooked out anyway.

Bit of rosemary makes them taste heavenly

You're a ****

Let me elaborate.... When I used to run a pub one of our regulars used to work for a food distribution company. He used to sell massive joints of fillet that had 'fallen off the back of his lorry'. About 10 - 15 steaks worth for £15. Needless to say, I was getting a bit fed up with steak and chips every night....so....mmmm, fillet steak curry...
