After sampling this bitburger I can see why. Why oh why do most pubs just serve crap lager :evil:

It is an absolute crime the crap we have on offer over here. The Stella thing is a prime example. When it was 5.2% it was a semi decent pint that was slightly different from the rest and canny quaffable to boot. Now its 4.8% and a completely different taste altogether purely down to tax reasons. Really find it difficult to differentiate between stella and any other bland lagers now. May as well drink Carling.

I'm drinking stellla now, it's Shite :(

Mind, have not touched carling for about 18 years and never would, horrible shite

If there was only Carling drink then I think I would be teetotal.

On reflection that is a lie as my borderline alcoholism would dictate otherwise

I know what you mean about stella, had some at a christening couple weeks back and it was foul.

It's been so long since I bought lager regular I wonder if the tax thing has ballsed them all up. Used to enjoy peroni and tsing tao.
