Looks interesting, what's the recipe?

is that orange peel in the top?

http://www.homebrewtalk.com/f80/joes-ancient-orange-mead-49106/

Large orange cut into 8 and shoved in, along with a cinnamon stick, raisins, 1 clove, some nutmeg and allspice.

Just covering sickness cover at an M&E Consultants in Belmont. Might go on a bit longer but the agencies were on the phone loads last week so the market must be picking up.

Looks canny. What was the OG?

Ne idea mate, dropped my hydrometer this morning

Finally bottled my stout last night. Been in the fv about 4 weeks had a sly glass and its lovely. Gonna try and save it for xmas day so i can get smashed with me da.

Off to a party tonight taking my cranberry rocket fuel and a couple of bottles of cerveza.

Just hoyed some sugar in a batch of youngs lager. Will bottle in a day or two then I can crack on with brewing the wherry that I bought in the summer.

I started my TC 2 weeks ago on monday, will it be ready to bottle this week? its nearly stopped bubbling maybe 1 every 30-45 min. there isnt many bubbles lying on the top.

I'd say yes, I've bottled sooner than that.

But if you have time and another demi, rack it and wait another week.

What sugar you got to prime with?

It's a canny hobby aint it :)

Although can get expensive!

We should arrange a home brew thing in the summer, we all bring our best brews, get pissed, and end up scrapping :)

Aye its canny like. I thought at first it is expensive but every time i make a brew it gets cheaper. i am not a massive drinker so no need to spend £10 a fortnight on a crate when i can brew some for much cheaper (fair enough have to know 4-5 weeks in advance) and appreciated it much more.

Would be canny that like.

40 bottles of wilkos cervera bottled and put in a warm place for a week. Gonna be so drunk the week i get off work at christmas.
