by starting ticket sales on Saturday night, catching many flat footed. Then releasing stuff in dribs and drabs, while those caught out on Saturday night play a big game of brinksmanship over the unused season tickets. Place season tickets on sale first, then open everything else together - a level playing field without all the daftness.
It was pretty obvious ticket sales would start quickly so I’m not sure why anyone should be shocked it was Saturday. If it wasn’t Saturday that just leaves even less time. If people want to play brinkmanship that’s up to them but a ticket to the game has always been there for them to buy , as for the level playing field , well it couldn’t be more level, both season ticket holders and non season ticket holder have had the chance to buy from the moment they went on sale. Your idea would have basically left non season ticket holders hanging and with less time to get sorted.

That season we were a shoe in for automatic promotion until very late on and then our form fell off a cliff resulting in us having to make do with the playoffs.

This season at one point it looked like even the playoffs might have been beyond us but the 13 game unbeaten run sees us go into the playoffs with form, confidence and an astute pragmatic manager at the helm.
Yep, and I don’t think I single person whether for or against his appointment can say Neil is the reason we didn’t go up automatically.

Plus Wednesday feels like a big game.
