Nice to see Ian "idiot on the edge" Holloway has apologised to Mick after making up comments regarding the wolves boss in his interview yesterday.

Holloway claimed that MM admitted that his side could not beat Man Utd last season so rested all this best players and then called Mick a fool for not believing in his players. No comments were ever made by McCarthy

This guy is going to get himself into serious trouble one of these days and ive lost all respect for him after this latest rant to try and get himself out of trouble for clearly breaking rule E20.

here are Holloways comments...

"Yesterday was the first time we'd had three games in a week and I've got every right to do whatever I like, I believe," the Blackpool manager said. "How can people liken that to what happened at Wolves, when Wolves went away to Manchester United and their manager openly said: 'I can't beat Manchester United so I'm going to play a lesser XI'?

"I went there believing I could win. It's not the same scenario, I find it absolutely absurd. I've never been the manager of Wolves, Mick McCarthy's the manager of Wolves, and he said: 'I can't beat Manchester United.' More fool you Mick, because I believe I can. Maybe you don't believe in your team as much as I believe in mine."

He has yet to make a public apology but Mick has comfirmed he has rang up Holloway to demand an explanation and he has apologised.

Did you know that he once came 15th in a poll of the funniest Londoners. Which given that he comes from Brissel is some achievement. He accent grates on me like. Much like the Black Country Dud-lie one does.

He's got every right to play any eleven from twenty five he wants. He's the manager and makes the decisions, but some of the shit he spouts is getting a bit much.

He is about as funny as aids

i actually love a good aids related joke

" the tories - if you don't remember them they were big in the eighties. like dungarees and aids"

frankie boyle said that not long after the tories had electoral success.

i also find ian holloway funny.

so to get to my point, yes, you're right

Is this just bitterness because you are going down?

No because they will be joining us.

More chance of Blackpool going down than Wolves

To be fair to Holloway he's spot on - no-one should question his team selection it's his perogative to pick whoever he wants. The same can be said of McCarthy, who for the record did blatantly just write the game off v Man Utd last year. Both have the right to make any decision they want for the benefit of their respective clubs.

The rules state that he cant.

Its a stupid rule that needs to be removed though as big clubs like Man Utd and Liverpool have been allowed to get away with breaking it in the past.

As someone who supports neither Wolves or Blackpool, but has watched both, I have to say that you are talking absolute bollocks.

Blackpools all out attack attitude will be the death of them and they WILL go down.

Wolves have more quality but are just not showing it enough when it matters and i really do worry about us at the moment.

Both clubs will go down if they comtinue with their current style's of play. Blackpool will get found out, we already have been :-(

Holloway is starting to get right on my nerves now like, starting to look a right bellend in the interviews he is doing the f***ing unfunny kernt.

Who gives a monkeys about Wolves? Shouldn't you be posting this on one of your boards?

And for the record, Holloway is a breath of fresh air.

Wolves seem like a carbon copy of us under Mick Mac. Play some really nice stuff but ultimately naive. We also seemed to get the same plaudits from the media as well. For Wolves fans thats should be worrying.
