History of the smb

Was this the thread?
People who refuse to leave their evil partner?

It would appear that the legendary picture no longer exists

Post in thread 'People who refuse to leave their evil partner?'
People who refuse to leave their evil partner?

But the original image has (thankfully) long since disappeared.

Doubtless someone will have a copy on their hard drive.

Marvellous effort both!

Such a shame someone didn't take a screenshot @CatRyan

There was a forum member on here who unfortunately passed away early 2000’s. I can’t remember his name and he’s not on the Gold board.
Anyway, in his profile he said his occupation was a miner. This was in the days long before smartphones were a thing so everyone sat in front of their computer to type messages so his occupation was there for everyone to see.
The reason I mention this is because he may have started off down the pits but he didn’t end up there. Apparently he got himself some sort of engineering degree and ended up moving to the US where he raised a family and had grandchildren and did really well for himself.
When he passed away another forum member, probably long gone off here, posted his passing and gave a bit of history about his background and how he never lost his affection for SAFC or forgot where he came from. It was a bit of a melancholy read at the time.
It would be nice if anyone off here remembers who I’m talking about and could post it in this or Gold forum.
Was his user name @Tony?

Just curiosity to be honest mainly for owner /mods and old school posters

How did it start

Did you know from first day it was going to generate so much traffic.

Did it run smoothly

Anything you regret

Favourite old school posters who don't post no more or sadly not with us.

Funniest thread or reply(platinum gold)
