Hidden gems

Spent the day in a little town in Kent called Deal. Absolutely lovely, as were the surrounding areas. Highly recommend it if you ever find yourself on the south coast. Probably the first place I’ve visited in Kent that wasn’t a complete let down.

I like Embleton in Northumberland. Most of Northumberland could be classed as a hidden gem, best beaches in England and some class countryside

My Auntie lives there, used to spend the summer holidays down that way exploring Deal & Dover Castle and swimming off Broadstairs beach, loved it.

Walked down to Kingsdown and had a pint at a pub called the Zetland Arms right on the beach. Fantastic.

Very olde and nice. Pleasant riverside and nice walks down to the beach past the golf course. Definitely nice.
