The one thing thats without question is he needs a rest. The lad is fucked, mentally and physically.
Is it not burn out that causes a player not to be able to cross a ball when in acres of space or unable to pass to his own player - just a poor technique.
Agreed but more mentally than physically, as someone mentioned earlier Lampard was really disliked by West Ham fans just before he left
I think that's untrue. He's been playing very poorly for months now yet he's started every game (probably due to injuries though). People don't just get on players back for the hell of it. He has not been doing enough. BTW, I don't agree with fans getting on the lads back and I don't think they have been. I think people are beginning to realise he's not as good as the media were building him up to be.
Every player gets moaned at when they lose the ball, you not watch the match tonight..?
There is only one person that can improve him and that is himself, if he's not up to it he might as well leave.
Not sure who will buy him though, he is not top club standard unless he does improve dramatically in the next two months.
so his career will be defined in the next two months![]()
No a top club summer move.
if the likes of man utd want to sign him, the next two months won't change a thing. they will have been tracking him for some time and will know his strengths and weaknesses. they will also be aware that he needs a break due to mental fatigue
The thing I like about Richardson is when he has the opportunity to shoot, he does. Henderson is a frustrating player to watch, he rarely shoots when outside the box. In fact, his wayward shot against Liverpool that went high and wide was the first time I felt I'd seen him have a shot for yonks.
I just don't see the fuss with the lad. His passing isn't anything special, he can't tackle, he doesn't score and his set pieces are woeful.
Well he would have had no or very limited Premiership experience so in a word, no, I doubt he will get a big move in the summer, if he does well done to him and even better still a real good bit of business for us, baring in mind he has been mediocre for a while now.
So he has 7 games left to show he is far too good for us.
You cannot afford to have patience in this league, that is the problem.
Either players perform or you drop them, it's not a difficult concept.
Young players need experience around them and protection (not to mention support) to develop.
