Henderson To Barca

People have a weird blindness for Henderson. he is a very good player and constantly improving. He has excellent technique and has the ability to pick and play a forward pass with accuracy and quality along the lines of scholes and Carrick. He's 24 and will be England captain in future And playing for a top club.

I think he's a good player but he's nowt like Scholes like.

Henderson is an unfashionable player who does a lot of grunt work. Looks like he's starting to add goals to his game as well.

Henderson was tracked for years, starting from when he was out on loan and breaking through into the first team here. Ferguson mentions him in his autobiography, talking about his work ethic and grounded lifestyle. These things are obviously just as, if not more important than talent.

I remember most of his time at Arsenal being injury plagued? Did he play a lot of games that last season?
Just remember him and rvp striking up a quality partnership before rvp left.
Sure song got a canny few assists from holding midfield
I cant see barca signing henderson tbh, song was a player they probay needed, henderson isnt as they have better coming through

Real Madrid must be bricking it:lol::lol::lol::lol:

What is hilarious is how you have been humiliated over Henderson. Making out he shit - he's the next captain of one of the most prestigious clubs in the country, creating more goals than all but 5 or 6 players in the country, scoring some cracking goals, likely to be the next captain of England.

And your the one laughing!

Who's actually said he's shit ? The Barca link is hilarious though I'm entitled to laugh at it. And I'm sick of hearing "Next England Captain" as if we have a brilliant national side he needs to start performing for England as he's been bang average so far

Even Henderson is better than him

He is getting better week by week, if he adds goals to his repertoire, why wouldn't Barca be interested ?

Jordan has been very good for the last 6 or 7 games, but let's face it he was rubbish up until Christmas, has never had a good game in Europe and looked woeful at the World Cup...never in a million years will Barcalona come knocking his door.

Gary Breeds RIP is testament to that.

Rodgers wanted to swap him for Clint Dempsey when he was at Fulham. Only thing that stopped it was Henderson refusing to move as he wanted to fight for his place.

Shows his character though, made his point and proved it, as opposed to say, Borini who can't even get in ahead of a bloke who puts his vest on backwards.

If the Barca scouts were watching Suarez last season, which they would have been cos they signed him, it's only logical that they would have flagged Henderson as well cos he's been impressive for them.

Chances are they would have been keeping tabs on him this season and, if anything, he's been even better for them. So he's probably one of number of players they're interested in.

TBF I'd be well chuffed for the lad if he ended up there. He should be the poster boy for our academy as the inspiration for what a player with a canny amount of ability and an even better attitude can do for himself.
Goos post there mate.

Don't know why people are having a wankfest over Henderson.
He doesn't play for us anymore - so fuck all to do with SAFC.
It's nice to see that our academy can produce some actual top-level talent, and having a graduate who goes on to play at the highest level like that can only attract more younger talent.. It's very much our concern.
