England's first half performance can be blamed on Barry. Incapable of using his right foot, and lacking the mobility to shift his body weight quickly and get himself turned. Upshot was England using only the left hand side of the pitch. He is the epitomy of ordinary.
Wish I was ordinary on 80K a week..
An attacking midfielder playing virtually in defense, excellent work capello, not only did he do that but in the second half he took Barry off and left Hendo all by himself doing it..what a f***ing joke. He looked always looked like he had quality on the ball but because he was so far back couldnt do anything with it, play him higher up and he;d have been much better. Victim of Capello's woeful selection, formation and tactics.
Gave up watching after the second goal, but from what I saw the Frogs exploited Hendo's lack of positional awareness at that level when we were on the back foot.
See my post earlier @ 11.03, that's precisely the point I was making. For 80% of the time Jordan did an excellent job of marking grass 10 yards each side of the centre circle.
Apart from the scythng lunge on a frenchie he doesnt tackle but runs alongside and in circles to the nearest opposition player.
He did play one forward pass second half.
put the cap in ya cabinet lad and show it to your grandchildren.
tbh Carroll's movement and involvement was much better than Hendersons.
Jordan didn't give the ball away because when he got a touch it moved rapidly sideways and back to the nearest England player.
Clueless f***ing idiot.

Reminded me of the Brazil game where the senior pros were not interested (gerrard stepped it up last half hour).
Jordan looked comfortable without putting himself on the line enough given the fact it was an England debut.
What is bugging me though is I get the feeling although there were a few youngsters playing, the pundits constant talk of "must not forget that the young lads" "the youngsters were taught a lesson" etc was directed mainly at Jordan. Given his position he was perhaps expected to make a bigger impact. Whilst he could of done better the way we played, the way the French controlled the midfield and the fact Gareth Barry is a twat meant he was never really going to get the chance.
It's experience and hopefully it will give him the impetus to keep playing well and he will be given more chances. Funnily enough I think Capello rates him, he is his type of player, neat, tidy and never wastes the ball, keeping it moving at all times.
