Many Helsingborg fans are boyco(u)tting it due to the game not being included in their season card, and some are giving it a miss in protest against the kick off time in their next Champions Leauge home qualifier game.

They are also bitter that they are playing us, while derby rivals Malmö FF are playing Milan later this month

:lol::cry:

these friendlies always make me laugh. Hodgeson was obviously at MFF. While at Fulham they arranged a friendly, by time fulham go to play malmo, roy has gone. Then its just been the same with WBA and roy going to england job.

Played ac milan last year cos of zlatan, now doing the same this year hes fucked off to psg.

I'm a Helsingborg fan, also Sunderland-fan of course.I'm going to watch the game as neutral as possible and be happy that my two favourite teams are playing each other in a non-competition game. About the wankers whining about not going for free as season card holders...well I got a season card too and I gladly pay for the game. If you aren't willing to pay like £15 to support your team you aren't worthy watching either.Just my opinion. Life is not for free, deal with it. Just how many fans were watching the other free games this year against danish teams? Not many...but when better teams show up for friendly it's whine whine whine :)

Well, see some of you real fans at Saturday I guess. I'm showing up at Bishops arms in Helsigborg before the game. Good luck to both teams, Helsingborg had a great game in Poland yesterday winning 3-0 away and showing great spirit.

make sure you leave the HIF shirt at home ;)

it's good to see a few Sunderland supporters in sweden. TBH MFF fans have been similar with throwing a hissy because games aren't part of the season card. I understand it, but at 15 quid you can't really complain. It beats playing other Scandinavian teams and maybe Shamrock Rovers...

Good luck to Helsingborg though in the champions league. I may despise them from a MFF perspective, but its good to see a swedish club do well in europe.

See you there then mate. I'm stuck on a train towards Malmö and we are standing still due to some engineering problems. Over 90 minutes late so far. In total it has taken about as long as it takes for me getting to Sunderland

Hi lads,
How many are we taking to the game...... planning of making the game its at 6-7h drive for me on the last day of the vacation so i havent decided yet. A bit stunned we are playing in Sweden, could have been a briliant one for the fans if this would have been knowned before the summer.

If known about start of the summer 1-1.5k perhaps. As it is..400 absolute max.

Stunning weather here in Helsingborg today, I hope everyone is arriving safely though because I've heard the trains have been quite shitty recently...like my swedish mate Oscar O got some experince of ;) Latest news is that at least 3000 people are coming, guess that's the number of sold tickets for now. Pretty good though for a friendly :)

Crush them damn Swedes!!! ;) I'll settle for a 4-0 win without any injuries.

To be honest I think it will be a rather even game but I look forward to lots of goals for both sides :D May the best team win :)

Yea Helsingborg is fitter and looking good atm, but Sunderland is of course a better team and should be a bit extra motivated after the poor H'pool performance. 1-2?

I do spend some time in Scandinavia on a regular basis because of my job.
It´s very common to the locals to support a team in England or perhaps Spain in addition to their local team.
The reason is that local footy is played during summer while during the looong winter many watch the more popular leagues on telly, inevitably you form a bond to some team with time and before you know it you are part of the local supporterclub of whatever team we talk about and probably booked for a trip over to the UK to watch a game during a winter weekend.

So what am getting to is that I´m sure a number of non-British SAFC supporters will be there unless they all are on holybobs

can you tell ItsAguerooooooooo to shut up if you see him?

On our way over to Helsingborg now from malmo. The weather is spot on! Wheres those pubs from the station then?

You can't miss it really, it's right beside the station in the ground level of hotel Marina Plaza. When you leave the station and walk out the main entrance there is a taxi zone kind of and you should be able to see it from there.
