Thanks for this, we'll get the train from Copenhagen airport to the station then a taxi probably, easier and probably safer! I'm sure Oscar will guide us and if it's not as bad as Pennywell then we should be ok!
Might go to the game on the Sunday though as we're they're until Monday so that's a good idea.

Probably the two most attacking and watchable teams on display that the country can offer this season, so it's a given if you're staying until Monday.

defo go the game mate. its not quite as good as the derby but if you go in the standing area you tend to get a large group of fans who will sing most of the games. cant go wrong for 15 quid.

and if you are going from copenhagen its a bit easier. its changed a little now they built the underground bit. there is a stop in hyllie. Which might be cheaper for a taxi. but even if you just stay on it til central station youll be fine.

If you are drinking in town tow good pubs are Sir tobys near the hitlon and triangeln. and the irish bar by gustav adolf torg. if you can find it give someone an ask and they will sort you out. Other good drinking places is Mollenvagen. got loads of bars in a small section. if you want to go a bit more upmarket. just down the road from central station is lill a torg.

Not many sights im afraid. turning torso is alright as is the whole of vastra hammen. amazing and very modern. apart from that. there isnt a lot to do  btw from the Ibis there are millions of taxis mate, and the hotel will help you out with it. Nice hotel.

Train costs (when i was there last) about tenner each way and takes 20mins, shorter if you get of at malmo syd or hyllie. if you like chinese food. go china box! love it.

hacken are a good team to watch as well for sure

Great stuff mate, tbh we're more interested in the pubs than sight-seeing so not too bothered that's there's not a lot to see.

Cheers.

Will definitely go to this, cheers!

I take it you've never payed a visit to Borås. Not a single minger to be seen.

Was 99% sure what a minger is, but googled it just to be sure... like the description: a male or female who fell out of the ugly tree at birth and hit every branch on the way down.

Nah I've never been there but I'll take your word for it.

shame they are selling Durmaz.

Got some cracking players in Hamad, Pekalski and Im liking Jansson this season.

Rangie is worth a shout as well. Seems to be doing the business. I hope they sign this south african lad they have on trial. scored 10 in 12 for Hassleholm. Not the greatest of levels in the 3rd tier. but it'd be nice to see what he can do.

Plenty of decent bars. one in the malmo ground for a pre match pint too.

If there is anything else you want to know or need help with just write on here or drop me a pm mate.

All good players you mentioned, although Jansson has cost them goals this season and when playing Sunday's opponents Häcken away, which they lost 5-0, he was a one man horror-show ... he's a good prospect though no doubt. Durmaz is a class player and will be missed but they've still got a good group of players!

yeah he is quite raw. he was shocking against mjallby away too. shame sudic is always injured as well. they could have a great young cb pairing. hoping helander comes good and looking foward to piotr johansson showing us what he can do.

Used to know Jimmy Durmaz pretty well when i lived there. back when he had a massive afro and tbh wasnt that good. Dont know where its come from but hes been fantastic.

A shame the teams in Sweden can never keep their better players. A mid table club in Turkey, Holland or what have you comes in and it's hasta la vista... understandable though given the low salaries. The best paid players - and they're not too many - are on perhaps £4-5k/w, shooting from the hip ...

Caught a game during my stay in Borås. Elfsborg's RB looked canny. Worth a punt?

What time is kick off for that sunday game mate? We not flying back till late on the sunday so might be worth a shout.

Excellent mate, thanks a lot!!

I'm off to Malmö tomorrow visiting my mate where I will be staying the weekend. We could get the train through to Helsingborg on saturday, I will meet you all up at Malmö Central station.

A little side note....

The Ghanaian club Asante Kotoko that we have a partnership with have one of their top players on trial at Helsingborg for one week. Keep an eye on him on saturday.
