Headingley sold to Mike Ashley


The Mail has had a different “Headingley sold to…“ Story every couple of months for about the last year, hasn’t it? Ashley has been the subject of some of them, together with various Saudi, Emirati and Indian owners. I suppose on a stopped clock principle they’re going to get the right one eventually.
 
Heard that someone with connections to the IPL may have swooped in at the last minute to Gazump Ashley.
