HDMI port PS4

just seen a PS4 on FB marketplace, gadgee reckons needs a new HDMI port fitting he has it but don’t want to do it? Is it very technical to replace?

The part will cost around £5 but unless you are good with soldering I'd not bother.

That’s been on the marketplace for months now, and there’ll be a reason why. You can’t see it working so there’s absolutely no way to know if the hdmi port is the only issue (or is an issue at all....he might be lying just to flog a dead machine).

The HDMI port is a common problem in the PS4. Song charge a flat rate for any fix of around £150 as they usually just send you a new console. I wouldn't recommend fixing it yourself unless you know how to solder. Quite a few people repair them on ebay for around £25. I sent mine to someone and got it back in 3 days fixed.
