wonder if DB will make a donation, come on DB dig deep

Bit embarrassing if players are making donations to fans flags.

Edit: I can't believe you sent a tweet advertising the site to Bent. What for???

Cos he retweeted the very first donation system so blatantly wanted to support us

But it's a fan thing. We don't want players just chucking money at it. It doesn't really seem right. In that case, the club might as well pay for the flags.

see where your coming from and agree, but whats to stop them doing it though

Agreed on the money side. But it helps him by retweeting it.

How is that?
Bent has 37000 followers on twitter, a simple retweet from him means 37000 possible donations to the kitty.

here in lays the issue. It's a full time job if even half of those donate (although, unlikley). I see ALS are involved, but to which capacity? are the originators and orginal campaigners of this idea just donators now? what if a flag is published and one or the originators dislikes it?

If you're talking thousands of donations, your talking politics; not just flag making. It's the undoing of many a great idea.

Canny deep like aren't you?

It is simply done to spread the word, we have a voting system in place so that the majority wins and everyone is happy rather than every design being put forward.

Not really political rocket science like

Keeping it small and managable, covering the costs of the flags; and you're right. I'll be donating no doubt, I support the idea - i think it's great.

I just don't agree with pushing it to a point that it cannot be maintained. That isn't rocket science marra, it's pretty straight forward.
