Interesting. Any comment by the FA/Premier League to explain his absence? Has he been ill or injured for example? By the way how do you find out?

Surely not. The FA stated the following week that he didn't have a scheduled game and that he HADN'T been dropped. And I believe them. I'm sure there is another explanation such as injury, illness, media work abroad or something. They wouldn't drop him as they said at the time he'd done nothing wrong.

Since the start of the 2007 season he has refeereed at least 2 games a month.

He now hasn't had a game since the 25th September. Odd that.

I think he refereed in a FIFA U18 competition one weekend, bu not sure what else.

If you mean our match, he was very much for the scousers and would be welcomed back to Anfield with open arms.:confused:
