Saw it this morning on my walk. It's obviously fungus but it looks like a space alien has crash landed on the tree 
Has anyone ever seen anything like this before?

It's really weird. I do love the shapes and colours fungi makes but I've never seen any of that type before. It has a strange 3D effect about it.

Bit of olive oil and a touch of garlic then fry them till crispy , add to a bacon sarnie and Roberts your fathers brother.

Funnily enough I saw a plant growing on the Riverside in Durham which looks just like the coronavirus
