Was just thinking about this and read the site was put up for sale about a month ago still in ruins. Surely the owners had insurance to rebuild?

That's a shame as I've always enjoyed popping in there whether driving or cycling past

£300k iirc .

Plus rebuilding costs , nee chance of making that pay never mind make a good living out of it.

Maybe build a bunk house as well as the greasy spoon , nice stopping point for all the c2c nazis.

would only appeal to either the people who do it in 4 days (are there any?) or the people who do it in 2 days (are there many?)

Did you see how much they used to charge for a sausage sarnie and cup of tea! They'd be back in the black after a week or 2, nee bother.
