I think he's a good player in a good side - keeps the ball moving. Sadly, he'll be horribly exposed at Everton.

Winks to the top flight is as Max Power is to League 1, although not really because Power can be a bit more attacking and doesn't look like a Midwich Cuckoo version of Scott Parker.
