Played 35 career games, about 23 league in the SPL and last season for Fleetwood. If he was exceptional Stoke wouldn't be letting him leave and he'd have played more than one league cup game surely. Would represent a big risk IMO in terms of age and stage of development, maybe too big for this season.


Similar age and experience of Dunne who was rated highly at Stanley and Hearts. thought it was just too much for him last season. This lad might be better but I think it's not a position we can mess about with too much given the amount already here.

higehr division clubs let players leave on loan all the time-thats the point of the loan system...
 
We should be targeting players around this age and stage. Players with potential to grow and develop. Of all the permanant transfers there was only O'Nein who fell into that category, from may recollection.

We should be scouring non league, league 2 and 1 looking for players who have potential, the best young players
