Proper method acting thenShe was in the film “Yesterday”. She played one of the few people on earth who had heard of The Beatles
She's very good but has she done any other stuff to note ?
Very good in the recent Sherwood.
It does have a tendency to go beyond the realms of belief. I thought the first four episodes of the first season were incredible, really gritty edge of your seat stuff, then it went a bit Hollywood. That’s not to say I’m not enjoying it, because it’s better than a lot of tv, but it’s a bit of a shame it loses the grounded in reality aspect. If I wasn't enjoying it I wouldn't have binged the lot.
I'd just read my post back and picked myself up on the wording. Tend not to watch a great deal of dramas as we're all fighting for the TV anyway.
The daftness.. It doesn't really get any dafter than that although I do appreciate you need to suspend belief with these things.they've just allowed a convicted killer, a killer of police no less, to escape from the dock of a crown court
She was crap in that. She was in the film “Yesterday”. She played one of the few people on earth who had heard of The Beatles
Who was she in Sherwood?
Oh yes I understand. When I am watching something in a drama, especially something to do with my job and it just patently wouldn't happen, I tend to yell scornfully at the telly. My other half does an eye roll and reminds me it's not a documentary! If I wasn't enjoying it I wouldn't have binged the lot.

Our tv would be very dull if programmes were absolutely technically accurate.Oh yes I understand. Artistic licence is needed to make things more entertaining.
if anything needs improving it’s the glut of reality Tv and soap operas.
But people love them so they will continue to be made.
....and if it was set in the MET eating biscuit and being misogynist racist bullies. Not all of rhem I know.If police drama were wholly accurate then it would just feature them sitting around eating biscuits.
Think this will be mine and the missussussusss next series to watch.Sat and watched both series back to back yesterday, didn't get to bed until after 1.30am this morning ffs.
All I can say is it was superb, gripping stuff and very intense (especially when she's trying to rescue Ann from the basement) and the kicking she got was f***ing horrifying (I did cheer when she got to stomp him on the houseboat a bit mind).
Loved it and I'm chuffed to hear there's going to be a third series (but they'll be like 6/7 years in the future, Ryan will have grown up and Catherine will probably have left the police force by then unless she's got a cushy desk job).
Am I wrong to think that Tommy was hot (looks wise), especially in series 1.
Oh and there was only sue missing because I'm fairly sure that was Rita and Bob in that anarl![]()
That only after they’ve done raping and killing young women. If police drama were wholly accurate then it would just feature them sitting around eating biscuits.
