I'm not as young as I was![]()
Neither am I, you may have a point, anyone seen a weather forecast?
Anyone else starting to get excited yet?
I know it will be cold and maybe damp but, Monday night game, maybe a little fog, all wrapped up with gloves and hat, floodlights on, steam coming up from the burger vans, everyone chatting and anticipating a good game, something about night time games in the winter.
Can anyone remember a time when our little Sunderland had a debate about do we start one of the EPL top goal scorers or leave him on the bench because we have great options?
A time when we have a few world cup stars sitting on the bench because they cant get in the team?
A time when we can sell the Cana’s and Jones’s and they are not missed.
Listen, just between us, don’t want to sound negative, I’m not setting myself up far a kick in the goolies here am I? We not going to do a typical Sunderland and let it slip this time, are we?
Dear Santa, please let it be true this time!!!!!!!!!!!
No better place to be when it was frozzing cold than right in the middle of a jampacked Fullwell End.
Rubbish in the seats with no way to keep the circulation going and no-one close enough to share body heat with.

I used to love weeknight games until I moved away.
Now I have to book a half day monday, and the day off tuesday.
Takes the shine off it, but all will be forgotten if we get 3 points.
Agreed, at times like this I really miss the old place.
PS - Harry, if it does snow you could always pop to the 'cricket club', never even had so much as a raised eyebrow supporting us there.
I've been in a couple of times but not for Sunderland games.
Watched us there the few times we've been on tv this season..
If it is indeed -2 on Monday they will have the pleasure of my company again.
Come hail or shine I will be in my seat, East Stand, to cheer the boys on. I have sky so could stay at home but, not the same, nothing like the same, and I'm a true supporter, I support.
When? Where? How?![]()

Same here and taking the kids who wont be in bed til 11 and have to get up for school, could just watch it at home, but any true supporters will be there to cheer the lads on after the performance of our lifetimes last sunday.
Haway man, it's going to be minus 2 and it's on the telly.
Do you mean I have to go in the freezing cold if I want to be a true supporter?
What if I have a bad cold? Will that be all right? Because I have a bit of a sniffle coming on.
