If you're watching arsenal villa rewind to 14.40 and watch Alan Hutton defending in the box. So simple.

Charming that like, absolutely charming. My opinion is different to yours so I'm a fuckin idiot, thanks very much.
It's mainly the 'if you've ever played' crack.

Along with the fact everything you've said is utter nonsense

Is ok mate you've shown your colours. Must say I've enjoyed the debate but it's ended quite sourly which is a shame. Think everyone's gave a good account and been quite fair. Never expected it to resort to verbal abuse but maybe I'm just naive.

No, offside is offside.

Surely you don't want a situation where someone takes a corner and it is headed out by the defender for someone to volley it in the top corner, only to be disallowed because the corner kicker is in a offside position or do you?

Same way they always did before ball to hand became so popular. Do you really think attackers are more concerned about hoofing the ball off someone's hand rather than scoring ?

Not at the moment but very quickly would be if knew would be a certain pen.

You're on a wind up that's why
I'm not on a wind up at all. Maybe not everything I've said I believe but I def think there's room to look at it a bit and there's absolutely no doubt that players play up to the rule. Like I said it's been a healthy debate but I don't have time on here for people being abusive. Just not my thing.

You are one of those people who think they know better than anyone else because you've kicked a ball of air around a muddy field on a Sunday morning

Chelsea players like Ivanovic have done the 'hands held behind the back' stance for ages and I think there are reasons for it. This eliminates just about any doubt the ref can have of giving a penna but what is good is that the player can still make himself wider by wisely using his upper arm. There's very little chance a ref would give a penna if a player has his hands behind his back yet he can still intentionally use the upper part of his arm if he's sly enough. ;)

Nowt confusing about the current rule though and sometimes they go for you although most times they don't but it's certainly better than the 'if it hits a hand it's handball' rule. This hands behind back technique is a f***ing great way of avoiding giving the ref a chance of making the incorrect decision and more and more players are doing this but I think it was Chelsea who first started making players do it as David Luiz did it even a few seasons ago.

No I'm not. I know that I understand the game and I'd be happy to discuss football with anyone and think I could give a good account. I know I'm no Gary Neville tho. I'm just a scruffy fan who likes to talk and watch football.
