Aye. Sometimes you think the biggest punishment is not what that courts hand out (sometimes, ie a slap on the wrist) but the effect it has on the person's life ….. the worry of the whole thing, possible loss of job, cost of defence, effect on family etc. ------ whatever, if you want a good life stay away from stuff like that.Happens every week in almost every town centre. That doesnt make it right, but they are probably trying to make an example of him to stop others doing the same.
A fine, community service and an apology is what i think he should have. Im sure he'll have learned from it already, missing the Ashes etc.
