Any decent gyms in Sunderland, just left the Aquatic as I can't afford the £28 a minth they want so I'm looking for a cheaper alternative.

Cheers

Mainly weights, It's all I really used the aquatic for. I go running 2, 3 times a week and play for a football team so it's not really needed for cardio.

Not from round the town marra so dont know any tbh but though it would narrow it down for the lads who might know

Reckon you will be doing well to get something for less than £28 a month mind

Unless its a proper run down meatheads gym

I was getting it on a concession but I've recently got a new job, but it's only working as and when required so I don't want to say yes to parting with £30 monthly when I might only get a couple of hundred quid one month..... Cheers for ya help mate.

Go on Ebay and buy some weights off there and do it at home.

You could pick up some dumbbells, kettlebells, etc at about half of what you would buy in the shops.

Also look at getting P90x or Supreme 90 and follow one of these programs as they might help you keep motivated

The hospital gym is only 15 quid a month mate, nee joining fee either, all you have to do is get a job there. ;)

I used to go to Fitness 2000 on Roker Av. Was canny, joined, can't remember how much, but not a lot, them £2.50 a time. That was a few years ago like.

Could get a bit busy around tea time, but suppose all gyms do?
