Gyan was such a miss tonight

We were in so many good positions where he would have scored tonight.
He is totally different to Bent and gives us that little bit extra.
When is he back?

You need to give Bent a break - he has been injured and may well have not played tonight if Gyan hadn't hads a knock - he is bound not to have his sharpness back - what do people want?! We're lucky he can come back in when he did - it bodes well for his sharpness on saturday - a great run out for him.

Bent is top class, Gyan is still unproven over here - yes he looks fookin brilliant so far, but lets judge him fairly over as longer period of time, and lets not come down on Dazza just because he has one poor game off the back of an injury.

I'll be the first to say that Bent hasn't been on the best form of late, but he's still right up there in the top scorers and will be great for us this season

I agree. If Gyan was fit Bent should definitely have started on the bench. Assuming Gyan is fit on Saturday it is a tougher decision to make, but I'd go with Bent and get Gyan on early if it's not looking great.

I am so looking forward to seeing Bent and Gyan up front.

We will be great just great

Aye, agree that Gyan gives us something different, more attacking options, and its going to be interesting how bruce play the 3 when all fit !

I agree that Gyan has a better all round game to Bent but they'll both be like pigs in muck when together as they'll be able to do what they do best.

Gyan-score the chances Bent can't, make clever plays and space for Bent. Bent-won't have to worry about having his back to goal and can run onto good balls and get into the positions which allow him to finish so often.

But in regards to your opinion that there were chances Gyan would have got, there weren't, I don't think. This is largely because Gyan wasn't there to create the chances in the first instance, but any of the opportunities Bent had, bar the header, would have been world class if they'd gone in, all very difficult and Bent did well to come close as he did I think, especially given he's been out injured like.
