Both obviously good at hitting the onion bag but can they form a decent partnership together.

I know its early days but when they have played together they seem very similar players, making similar runs etc.

Sometimes its better if your strikers have different strengths to compliment each other.

Hope im wrong like.

Anyone have any doubts?

i dont. from what i see of gyan is more than just a forward as he has played some decent quality crosses, flick ons, head downs and passes.

i think all in all, we have our best two forwards since quinn and phillips

I suppose it is going to take a while for them to form a decent understanding.

He's actually more effective in those situations then Jones ever was. His cross field reverse ball for Welbecks first attempt on sunday was sublime.

Bent on the last man, Gyan battling. Can't wait.

Gyan's passing is so good I can't see it being a problem, it'll stretch defenses more as Bent can fully sit on the shoulder rather than drop back to collect the ball. I think we're going to be f***ing brilliant with them two.

it could well be but i think that they are both clever players and it wont take to long.

hoepfully monday will have them flying

SHOULD be fine.

I expect Bent will score the more goals as he is more a predatory striker and does most of his work in the box. Gyan looks to have a better all round game, can play others in and seems to drop deeper at times. Gyan also knows how to finish like.

Going to be intresting to see how Bruce plays the forward line when all 3 are fully fit, bruce has done the right thing in the way how he has bought Gyan into the premier league, and its paying off !

Welbeck looks a handful at times and we know everthing about bent, it may take a few games for Gyan and bent to form a partnership, but im sure they will hit it off...

Its going to very competative up-front in the next few months, and bruce will have options to turn things round when things are not coming off...

Now Im all for playing your best team but Wellbeck was imense and ive not seen Bent have a better all round game yet so no need to rush Bent back into starting line up

Doubt it, we can relate to Chelsea and when they started playing Anelka and Drogba together did they actually become a more formidable side.
