I agree. It's a good conversation starter as well normally in a way as well. People often ask me why I support Sunderland etc.Why the hell buy one if you can only wear it indoors, i am proud to support sunderland and like to show my support.
Wont be any as it's only kids that go according to some on hereInfo appreciated. Slight aside, what would parking restrictions be like today for the SoL shop?
Over 40s were obviously born before 1976.Even worse than over 40's wearing denim.
This. Was in a bar in corralejo a couple of years ago and had my red Adidas safc polo shirt on. Didn't pay for a pint all afternoon.I agree. It's a good conversation starter as well normally in a way as well. People often ask me why I support Sunderland etc.

I love it.On reflection I can accept wearing it for the match itself, not something is wear mind but understand people doing so in that instance.
It's pretty poor stuff when grown blokes are wandering around on holiday wearing them mind.
It was a canny day, met a villa fan, also arsenal, Chelsea, Spurs, Wigan, Blackburn and Man U fans. And a couple of Newcastle ( Aussie Newcastle) fans.Never been that lucky with the pub before.I was however known in college as the 'Sunderland fan'. Apart from the odd paedophile joke I'm still mates with a few of the people from there because of my Sunderland shirt.
I've met only one Newcastle fan a couple of weeks after defoes goal vs Newcastle. He refused to get into a picture with meIt was a canny day, met a villa fan, also arsenal, Chelsea, Spurs, Wigan, Blackburn and Man U fans. And a couple of Newcastle ( Aussie Newcastle) fans.
Over 40s were obviously born before 1976.
That means many of them encompass the 60s and the rock generation.
Woodstock, The Who, The Stones, Carnaby Street, Summer of Love, and real socialist working class governments.
I am astounded that anyone can think it odd that someone from that era should continue to want to wear jeans as they progress through life.
Marks and Spencers have a good range of theseMutton dressed as lamb. They should wear comfortable beige slacks with an elasticated waist, unless they a members of Status Quo or American.

Well I've justified why it is not unreasonable for over 40s to wear jeans.Mutton dressed as lamb. They should wear comfortable beige slacks with an elasticated waist, unless they a members of Status Quo or American.

I'd like to read that article, I remember reading there is a Sunderland in Argentina and they play in black and white stripes, because all they had to go off was black and white photos!Read somewhere there are many clubs around the world with red-and-white stripes, footy imported from Sunderland years ago, etc.
