Grown men wearing replica shirts

I only wear them for playing footy or gym, but don't get why some feel the need to have a go at blokes that do wear them. You just have to look at the euro's at it does look good seeing all the different colours of teams in the stands. The main thing I'm not keen on with people wearing replica shirts, is the smell that they make when dirty buggers don't wash them and then stand right next you you stinking of BO.
I've never heard anyone have a problem in real life to be honest, its just a message board thing

On a similar theme how come everyone's suddenly wearing the '82 England strip?

It's always been my favourite England kit but surely all these fans haven't by coincidence decided to source that particular kit and start wearing it at the same time randomly 34 years later?

I've got it you can get it in fat Mike's for 25 quid and looks better than the 50 quid current one. Get it in the club shop at the stadium too and the red away one.

They should make 100% cotton ones to the same design.

Me and the missus wear ours to the games. Don't get this false snobbery around them to be honest.

I bought one back in 2004ish when Admiral still did them and they had a contract with Asda to flog them. Unfortunately wearing it too often at the gym etc ruined it.

Anyone over 18 wearing one of these for anything other than participating in a sporting activity are an absolute cry for help!

I've never understood people that wear other club's shirts that they have no affinity with beyond thinking the shirt looks good.

SAFC or England for me.

had one bought by my daughters (absolutely no) for Father's Day and I'm definitely going to wear it with pride.
Ha'way the lads:D
If it's a present from your girls, you have to wear it mate, even if you didn't really want to. It has to be done I'm afraid. Personally I don't think there's anything wrong with it on the right occasion. It's only Mags get it a bad name by not washing them and smelling like ferrets. ( no offence intended to any ferrets reading this )

What about watching the game. The crowds at the euros would look shit if no one wore tops. Unless you class watching the game as participating.

Some people would say dictating what grown men wear and when is a trait of absolute arrogance.
Yeah I suppose wearing it to a game is just about acceptable. It's when you see prople wandering around doing the shopping or out for lunch wearing them that looks awful.
People wearing them on holiday as well!

What about in a pub on the other side of the world watching the derby game?
