Never seen the price as high as it currently is on Amazon, it was at least £100 less when I got it 5 years back, but it hasn't missed a beat in all that time.

You're missing something. I put a pot on every morning before leaving the house. It then fill a Tim Hortons chugger cup, and drink in in the car. Great start to a working day.

That’s alright, sadly alcohol has the same effect, when I buy I pint, I may as well pour it straight down the loo and miss out the middle man.

At the risk of recommending the tax avoiding bastards, Amazon generally have a decent selection. Depends really on your preference of roast and how you are going to prepare it. The P+P of the specialist companies tends to put me off.

I was on a course last week and drank more coffee than I ever have in my life, yet still didn’t notice any caffeine effect whatsoever.

I’m going to go left field and recommend Aldi’s beans here. The Italian blend does a lovely strong but not bitter shot in my De’Longhi bean to cup machine.

Adjust it to max for me and turn it down for the missus. Perfect.

The sister in law is over from San Francisco where they inhabit all these hipster coffee places and rates our coffee up there with them so that’ll do me.
