i still like them...Can't work out how I ever ate cheese pasties these days. Absolutely rank.
I want to try them because I like quorn but I'd feel like a bellend ordering something vegan.
It’s probably the lack of animal fats in the pastry. I prefer them to the meat ones. Crispier pastry and a lot less greasyI saw them the other day in Greggs but thought they looked a bit undercooked or anemic. They weren't that lovely golden colour that meat sausage rolls are.

Ah right, I was put off by the appearence but might try one next time. They are better paler like, probably down to the lack of egg wash.
When they are a bit browner, they tend to be too dry.

It's happening next week.Controversial opinion but steak bakes are the weakest of the Greggs arsenal. Awaiting the vegan bean and sausage melt and a vegan breakfast sausage sarnie. Those will be special.
Think they have rolled the sausage sarnies out for a few weeks now as well, tried the ham and cheese toasted thing as well which didnt like probably more cos it was on white bread than anything else for me.It's happening next week.
