I do think Parkinson is in the right here, whilst the player wants first team assurances from the off we can’t just change a winning team as soon as Docherty comes in. Dobson & Power are both seemingly building a good partnership too so it will be very harsh to drop either now.

I still think we’ll sign him, he’ll just have to inform Parkinson he’s prepared to wait for his chance.

It’s a long season so he will get opportunities to play.

He will know that both Power and Dobson are always just one tackle away from a suspension.

I hadnt seen that, but wanting to get in the team quickly, I dont see an issue, he would if someone loses form gets injured or suspended
