Just because hes half danish doesnt make him good. I love metallica but lars still sounds more like he building a shed on every track

Nationality doesn't come into this one (I would've gone for Safri Duo if that was the case). I'm not even the biggest fan of Metallica but when I see him drum I am always amazed by how fast he is. I would've dropped the sticks within seconds myself. Anyway, I could only remember two drummers so it was either him or Phil Collins...

I'm not letting you get away without Mr C Bunker of Jethro Tull:

I watched the Isle of Wight DVD (again) a couple of days ago. What an amazing time for music.

The festival that started because of that event should be more my thing i suppose, but I've got an album by 23 of the bands at IOW 70 and just one by the bands at Glastonbury 11, and that was released over 20 years ago.

Danny Carey

This clip made me LOL at 41s when he seamlessly sticks a drumstick under his arm while pulling out the gong beater, smacks the gong and continues without a break.

Incredible drummer.

edit: bizarre clip, the audio from the clip is muted the first time round in favour of the audio from the album version. and then the same clip is played again with the drums from the clip audible on top. Very odd.
