Nope your, I am posting on an internet forum not applying for a job - but thanks.

And I take your lack of comeback as an acceptance of my argument - thanks again.

Ha what a spoon. You're deadly serious as well with your argument. You're crowds are 11000 more than Hartlepool United, yet you're trying to suggest "new" football fans of this era would brand Boro in the same category as Sunderland in terms of size. Absolutely laughable man. I work in Boro, very few people care about the club, you've even had to shut down your town centre club shop, nobody gives a fuck about Boro in Boro. I see just as many Liverpool/Man United shirts in Boro than I do Boro shirts.

This is hard work.

Sunderland are a bigger club than Boro. We always have been and always will be. There isn't even a debate to be had.
i would agree with you but boro are a bigger club than they are given credit for on here.maybe not in terms of winning trophies in the past but in terms of years in the top division they outrank leeds for example.one more year in div 3 than sunderland etc.

You can drag as many spurious arguments up as you like. Leeds and Sunderland are bigger than Boro.

So wev17 comes on here every few weeks to say something negative about SAFC because his shitty little team are crap-leave him be lads and lasses, it really is quite pitiful.

fckin sausage fingers again.not a spurious argument i never said boro were bigger than leeds but that wouldhave been the case until revie changed them in the 60s. history eh :D

Why the hell are people bothered about boro? Haha fkn boro?

Not rivals, never been rivals, never will be, a lower league club traditionally

People mentioning boro's 12k drop of attendance since relegation 6 years ago - what would sunderlands crowds be like after six consecutive seasons plodding around midtable in the championship? Bearing in mind when you were relegated in 2002/03 the next season you got 22k at home in the august.. So a 24k drop from your highest when you were in the prem:)

And boros away support may not be better in numbers but definately in quality. We Stand all game for starters (unlike you) and dont copy manchester uniteds songs

The fuckin cock socket only turns up when his shite/ collective have a better result than ours.
only that's not the case is it, you little div, I've posted on other threads which have fuck all to do with Boro if i've seen them and as I've said, wanted you to beat City as well as say I didn't think you would actually go down last season. Of course I'm going to take the piss when you get humped 8-0, t
See, that's the sort of thing we find strange about your lot.
what, that we clean ourselves and get a wash?

We don't have a derby, apart from Hartlepool, and I suppose Darlo. I would say you lot, the Mags & Leeds are 'rivals' or clubs we'd like to beat above others. just like it is for their fans including yourselves, I know plenty of mackams at work who would hate losing to us more than Stoke, for example. Might not be the case for you personally, but it is for plenty. As for not having a 'derby' well we can't be blamed for that can we, it's called fuckin geography!

well done Boro. I like seeing them do well. Would like them to go up as long as we stay up.
Deffo, It's better to have all 3 in the same league, goes without saying. Maybe next year...........

I personally wouldn't debate that. Again though, so you should be. Size of a town can't be blamed on the inhabitants can it, know what I mean. Isn't Sunderland bigger than Newcastle, as far as population goes, but they have bigger gates? Leeds is one of the biggest cities in the country. We're a town. A small town, not in Yorkshire, but a small town all the same. Big f***ing deal, not really our fault or problem or something I could give two fucks about

As a great philosopher once said

You tell me mate, your da was a giver no doubt
He was mate, told me plenty of times how he give your Mam one, and what did he get in return? Syphilis.........now where's the fuckin justice in that. You try and be nice and look what happens. Some people........

Like I said earlier, the catchment area is irrelevant. Some clubs are bigger than others. We are bigger than Boro.

It's not though, it's totally relevant. You're 'bigger' cos you have a shit load more people to pick from. If I remember right Boro used to have the highest % of season ticket holders with a postcode from the same area.

We once fielded a team for a premier league game with 15 of the 16 in the squad born within 25 miles of the ground. "Big" Teams don't do this, your Citys & United's, Leeds & Liverpools......

For a small team, we hold our own. The stayaways will soon be back and we'll have 30k crowds if we get back in the Prem. I can't blame people not going to the match in times like this, in one of the worst affected places in Emgland and the prices we charge. We had a ticket deal against Wednesday last season and got over 30k. I think it was £15 a ticket
