Grayson's Comments After The Game

It didn't take him long to pass the buck did it? That worries me! Graysons teams have always shipped too many goals, did he make the mistake that PDC did and play a high line with slow defenders. Is that what Grayson does, they were pretty well shown up with the goals today and that is what it looked like.

All sounds very Paolo Di Canio for me. Last thing you wanna do is lose the dressing room.

No it doesn't. Di Canio named players. His attacks were personal. Grayson is talking in general. Di Canio divided the club, not allowing players to talk to staff. The players didn't rebel because Di Canio made them train hard. They rebelled because he was an egotistical bastard who took all the credit when things went well and none of the responsibility when they went badly.

I'm not so sure it's passing the buck so much as telling the truth. Every manager over the past few years has said the same. We're not good enough and the recruitment strategy only makes things worse.

Once it becomes apparent we're not going to do well the fans will turn on Grayson because admitting Short is at fault seems to be too much for some to handle.

He alone came across to the supporters, after the West Brom debacle, while the players scurried off down the tunnel.

The same players who 'leaked' the stories of his insanity and how he banned them from smiling or talking to the staff.

And basically said what can I do. That's not taking responsibility.

No he never, he was asked by the younger players to go and speak on there behalf. Because pdc was a loon

Course he did. He's admitted it himself. PDC publicly called him out and a week or two later he was gone.

Allardyce had him sussed and replaced him as soon as he could. It's no surprise Kone and Kaboul both had their best spells for us when they weren't alongside him. In fact they were both a disaster when they were alongside him. It's no surprise even Papy had better stats than O'Shea last year and we won more games when O'Shea wasn't selected. Just look at the Burnley away game when Kone went off and O'Shea was put in at the back. Fucked up within 5 mins and conceded.

He gets a lot of slack on here for some reason but he goes behind managers backs to get them sacked and his best days were over before he even signed, and it's about 5 years after that now

Our lack of outgoings is pretty telling imo.

Apart from JP and JD the rest have a great big question mark against 1 or more of the following: Fitness, professional attitude, drive, mental strength, ability, pride. I couldn't be less bothered about any of them leaving our club tbh-none of this lot are irreplaceable.

Big job for Grayson and I fear we will be at best a championship club for the next 3 seasons at least.

Been one of our best players in every game as well hasn't he? Same with Khazri

he hasn't gone behind any managers backs, like I said and O'Shea said he was asked to go and speak to someone about things going on

Grayson is criticised for being defensive man.
