Grayson showing us how its done

If Blackpool are meant to be competing with neighbours Preston and Fleetwood then the manager is under pressure if he has been given the resources to do so. Niel and Barton certainly seem passionate and have done well. Grayson is merely paying the price of underachieving. Managing Sunderland in the championship was simply to big an ask for most managers let alone Simon Grayson given the circumstances.

Must be awful for the fans having Fleetwood above them in the table, in fact it will drive them mad. Suppose it's like us being behind Hartlepool in the league, now that would be poo.
Grayson is a poor manager and comes across as dull as dishwater, getting found out quickly in league football.

It's not that quick, he'd been a manager for 12 years before we took him on.

Don't see the sense in sacking him half way through when will not be relegated or promoted.

Giving a new manager a chance to see his current squad in action so that pre-season can be spent on building the squad for him, not a come in and see the players in pre-season and not see them play competitively. Makes a lot more sense, than leaving it until the last second.

Yes, I see that, just seems that instant success is all that is tolerated, a near impossible dream.

But if he came in promising that and he's not delivering, then get rid. Moyes should have been peddled with his replacement brought in facing absolutely no pressure in the final few games of the season. Instead we waited nearly 2 months after the season ended and brought him in, giving him a month and a half to work out what was needed (most of which had the players away for the pre-season break).
