Bet spend you are right as we have debt that needs paying off. We will be in the top 1/3 of monies spent. That is automatic and play-offs for the league. That's competitive in my eyes
The longer we're in this league the less he'll get
The longer we're in this league the less he'll get
The proof will be in the pudding
It's a high risk strategy again if that is the case. Season starts Friday and it's dangerous to gamble on player sales and the recouping of decent fees this late in the piece. Clubs will be aware we need to sell so will play hard ball over fees and selling clubs will be aware that we need to buy so will do similar.
And that, in a nutshell, is more or less how we have conducted our transfer business for years. Last ditch, panic stricken and disastrous for the coffers.
get what you're saying - but as I said to the other lad - Short (surely) has to balance his desire to reduce his liability whilst retaining an asset which has some on the field value - and whilst I think Grayson is doing ok he's not a miracle worker.
Dream on! Go and support somebody else, you won't be missed. There's too much negativity around our club and that needs to change. It's not a case of that......Poor judgement.
Not very good ones.......Play the kids, build a team.
Someone who has promotion to the Premiership on his CV.

how the fuck can he be mismanaged when he is the gafferAnd like I said before he has been mismanaged himself and is a business man not a Sunderland fan
Agreed but this season he has reduced our debt by £30m plus a fair proportion of the parachute payment as redundancies will have been made and wage cuts of staff including playing staff to inline our operating P&L
What is more high risk is spending money before you have it!!
Gerrin! Knew you would see sense.
You're a supporter Short loves.....He can do anything and you will always remain up-beat.

Again, I'm not disputing that. But based on that you can't tell supporters that we have a competitive budget. At present, we seemingly don't have a budget so it's misleading to say otherwise.
I'm not seething eitherYou!
You're not sweet!![]()
Told you before I'm not happy. What part of that do you not understand? Unlike you, I don't blame Grayson for the position we find ourselves in. The season hasn't started yet! How many times do I have to repeat it man.

I'm not seething either
If all these people who think you're a thundercunt were indeed seething then we'd have a riot on our hands
Cue comment about being angry, a 'x', referring to me as sweetie/Hun/etc or a variety of smilies.
