What's he said?
He always sounds like a music hall act from the 1920'sPre EFL build up
I think they're saying he sounds a bit thick.
he had nee complaints about his budget when he took the job? Unless you are saying Short has gone back on more promises to a manger? Not slow. Not wanting to take the piss out of the manager who has his hands tied behind his back.
Like that's never happened beforehe had nee complaints about his budget when he took the job? Unless you are saying Short has gone back on more promises to a manger?
To be fair I'm no happy clapper but I'm no pissy pants either, I listened to the interview (unlike most who will no doubt comment)
1. He is a positive bloke who wants to and is happy to be at Sunderland
2. He wants players who like him want to be here and if they don't they are free to go.
3. He wants players in with the same mentality.
4. Some players will go in the next few days/weeks.
5. We have a competitive budget in this league.
6. We will bring players in with the right a work ethic and desire
We can't judge him until the transfer window has shut and the season is under way. He didn't make this mess, he is here to improve on it. After hearing that am pleased he is. Even if he wasn't my first choice as manager, given what he has walked into, I'll certainly give him a chance.

Is that like a struggle to insulate your plumbing? If he didn't say we are in a relagation battle I will be disapointed.
Bring back Moyseh.
Like that's never happened before
Proof will be in the pudding.
Signing players like Vaughan, Grabban, McGeady and Steele for next to nowt and a couple of young loanees doesn't suggest or budget is going to be anything like competitive. Unless he means competitive for a club looking to survive
You are a raging bell mind. He's simple man!
Nee wonder the fuckers aren't playing for him!
Did he name any positions? Or say if any are close?
